Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone had been meaning to team up for a long time and this wish was fulfilled with Siddharth Anand's Fighter. But there's one more project where we might be seeing them together, and it is Madhu Mantana's Ramayana. It was said that Hrithik Roshan will play Ram and Deepika Padukone will become Sita. However, now it looks like Hrithik Roshan will still be a part, but not as Ram.

If a report in Bollywood Hungama is to be believed, then Hrithik will play Ravan and not Ram. A source told the portal, "Duggu had been in talks to play an important role in Deepika's Draupadi which was a modern retelling of the epic Mahabharat. But that film will happen later. Mantena is bankrolling Ramayana first and Hrithik will play Ravan's role in the epic period drama."

Seeing him as Ram was something, but seeing him as Ravan will be a completely different thing altogether. We are just waiting for an official confirmation now. Hrithik Roshan is currently geared up to shoot for Fighter. He would also be seen in the sequel of War and some reports even suggested that he will do a cameo in Pathan as Kabir.
