Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil To Release In China After The Success Of Sridevi's Mom

The Bollywood wave is steadily taking over China and many Indian filmmakers are now looking at the country to juice big profits off their films even with a delayed release. With films like AndhaDhun, Secret Superstar, Dangal and others creating a sensation among the Chinese fans, Rakesh Roshan has now decided to take his 2017 release Kaabil to China.

The Hrithik Roshan, Yami Gautam starrer thriller will be releasing in China on June 5 and the makers have released a poster for the same. Kaabil which was a super hit in India earned 126 crores at the box office in 2017 despite its Republic Day clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees.

After the success of Aayushmann Khurrana’s AndhaDhun in China, gates have now opened for Indian thrillers to try and replicate the same success in the country. Late Sridevi’s Mom which is currently running in Chinese theatres is also giving positive signs as the film has earned 41 crores so far.

Only time will tell what would be Kaabil’s fate in China, but if these trends are anything to go by, the film will certainly emerge a winner.
