HTLS 2019: Akshay Kumar And Kareena Kapoor’s Reaction To Bachchan Pandey And Laal Singh Chaddha Clashing At the Box-Office Is Priceless

Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor have not only been co-stars in several films but the two of them also share a really close bond. While their on-screen chemistry in several films has been liked by their fans, off-screen their camaraderie and banter sure brings the house down as it did at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit.

While Akshay and Kareena were candidly answering questions about their personal and professional lives, Akshay was asked about going against the rule of Eid, Christmas and Diwali belonging to particular stars and having releases on Eid, Diwali, and Christmas next year. He said, “Eid belongs to Kumars, Kapoors, and Khans, Christmas belongs to Kumars, Kapoors, and Khans. This system only is wrong and yes it so happens that I have releases on all the major festivals next year.”

However, hilarity ensued when they were all reminded that Akshay and Kareena’s Bachchan Pandey and Laal Singh Chaddha would be clashing at the box-office on Christmas next year. Always the charmer, Akshay without missing a beat said, “Kareena pyaar se bolegi to main hath jaunga, par mai pyaar se bolu to tu bhi hath jana,” which roughly translated to English means, “ If Kareena asks nicely then I will move the dates, but then if I say with love you (Kareena) also move the dates.”
