Recently, while speaking at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit Akshay Kumar opened up about how he manages doing so many films in one year and whether he finds it difficult to focus on multiple characters at the same time. Akshay said, “It all depends. Different people have different ways. I have different skills. I never had to lock myself up to get into a character. At the end of the day, it is just acting, itna kya load le rahe ho.”

He further added, “ All you have to do is concentrate and understand. There is a guy called director, just listen to him and try to understand what he is saying. I finish a film in 40 days, mujhe to samajh nahi aata ki 150-200 din kya shoot karte hai. Mission Impossible was shot in 55 days, what are we making that is bigger than that.”

Akshay also talked about not rejecting films, unlike his fellow speaker Kareena Kapoor. He said, “You take about 40 days to shoot a film, and I do about 4 films a year which means 160 days.  Rest you sit free for 205 days. I can actually do 8 films, main to rahem kar raha hun logo pe.”
