In A Throwback Gem Smriti Irani Blames Karan Johar's 'Koffee Hampers' For Weight Gain Also Jokes About His Pout

Smriti Irani in another one of her classic throwbacks shared a picture from her visit on filmmaker Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan. In a witty caption The former TV actress and now cabinet minister blamed Karan’s famous ‘Koffe hamper’ for all her weight gain and also passed a sarcastic retort on the director’s love for pouting in pictures.

 The Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi star wrote, "POUT MIA alert...Throwback to a time @karanjohar smiled in photos taken ... P.S—- notice how slim yours truly was...totally blame the damn hampers for the weight gain #tbt."

In the picture, Smriti can be seen sitting alongside Sakshi Tanwar and Karan Johar who is pleasantly smiling for the camera. Commenting on this gem of a throwback Karan retorted, "Oh god!!!! That may have been the last time I smiled in a photograph!! and what was I wearing?????".

The picture goes back to the year 2005 and the very first season of Koffee With Karan, the filmmaker no doubt has emerged as a fashion icon since and also fixed his signature pouts as his favorite facial expression while posing for photos.

The throwback no doubt gave the fans a major nostalgia trip and they couldn’t help recalling the ‘Kyunki’ and ‘Kahani’ days.
