Irrfan Khan's Son Babil Khan Talks About An Intense Moment Of Missing His Father As He Goes Through Their Old Chats

Irrfan Khan’s son Babil who is often seen sharing fond memories with his late father and legendary actor on Saturday shared a post with old text messages from him. The star kid wrote how he stumbled upon these old texts while deleting old messages on an app and almost replied.

The messages from Irrfan were from a few months before his death.  One from December 2019 read, “Tum phone le aana sath mai dekh lunga,” while others from March 2020 read, “Babila call please when u r up” and “Call back it’s very urgent”.

Babil who had saved the contact as ‘Baba’ along with the screenshot of the chat wrote, “This was intense on a level I could not explain. I was deleting unnecessary chats from my WhatsApp and I found this. For f**k’s sake. I was almost about to text him back just for the thrill of feeling like “mera bhai idhar hi hai mere saath”.

The young actor who dearly misses his father often shares nostalgic posts remembering him. In a post from a few days ago he had shared an old picture of Irrfan and wrote about meeting his ftahe rin his dreams.

“For in my dreams, I have no knowledge of your desertion. In my dreams today, you told me you were about to leave me and you held me for so long. Imagine the fact that I just woke up cause my phone rang for yet another offer to act, for yet another film. Now what sense does all this make without you Baba? I’d rather keep dreaming,” Babil had written in the caption.

Irrfan Khan died in April 2020 after a two year battle with cancer.
