One of the greatest, most talented and extremely versatile actor’s of the Hindi film industry, Irrfan Khan breathed his last at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai on 29th April due to a colon infection. His family was devastated while fans, along with the entire nation, were heartbroken by his sudden demise. While we knew he wasn’t keeping well, we always hoped he would get through the tough times and return to entertain us through his spectacular performances.

The actor’s son Babil decided to take a stroll down memory lane today and shared a beautiful picture of his parents along with an emotional poem as an ode to them. He wrote, “Gleaming through the wicked winter moon, I wish I could fit in your shoes. You have gone so far away. And I’m always just a little too late.” Babil went on to write a few heartbreaking lines for his mother that read: “I was high, when I witnessed my mother cry. I might never win. For, never will forget me, the unforgivable sin. Blood on her lips, crippled my heart. Pierced my soul like an adamant dart. Ma, my ma, tell me you love me too. Ma, my ma, I would give it all for you. (Yo bro, u know I love you more than life itself. ).”

Remembering the terrific man that he was, Irrfan’s son Babil and wife Sutapa Sikdar often share unseen pictures and heartfelt posts on social media. They even share stories about him along with beautiful family photos. The actor may not be amongst us anymore, but he will continue to live on in our hearts. We are grateful to Babil and Sutapa for sharing these unseen gems with their fans and followers.
