Irrfan Khan’s Son Babil Remembers The Late Actor; Says ‘My Soul Can Implode, In A Search To Feel You Close’

One of the most talented, versatile and adored superstars of the Hindi film industry, Irrfan Khan was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor in 2018. He fought like a true warrior for two long years. In April this year, the actor breathed his last due to a colon infection and bid the world a final adieu, leaving his fans, family and the entire film industry heartbroken. While he left a void in our lives, his son Babil’s social media posts remembering him always fill our heart with love. Their happy times and Irrfan’s heartwarming smile always makes our day brighter.

Today, Babil took to his official handle to pen a heartbreaking note remembering his father. Along with a snap of his father and pictures of him with a camera, Babil shared: “I’m working Baba. You pushed through demons, up in your feelings, no one gets it, no? I’d give every cell in my presence to remember your skin, My spinal chord will rotate and my soul can implode, in a search to feel you close, I wish I would have known how it feels to end, so I can begin. Why are you surprised? It’s the job of the Politician to choose to lie, and when I’m bleeding, I know, sleep is just death being shy.”

He went on to write: “I pray for you, our farmers, in our self-illusiveness we thought we were better, I hope we can surrender. I hope we find a way. I miss you India. (No political comments please, this is not a political expression.)” The comment section of Babil’s post has been showering with appreciation and fans are grateful that they could start their day after seeing Irrfan’s picture.
