Is Rajkummar Rao Doing Ayushmann Khurrana's Shubh Mangal Zayada Saavdhan? Here's Your Answer

If you were looking forward to a Rajkummar Rao and Ayushmann Khurrana on-screen reunion after their hit Bareilly Ki Barfi there’s news for you. The sequel to the 2017 hit Shubh Mangal Saavdhan which going to be homosexual love story is on its way with Ayushmann Khurrana having already announced the project, but the mystery remains who he will be paired opposite. In recent reports, Rajkummar Rao’s name was speculated and now the actor has responded to the rumours.

Rajkummar who is currently getting ready for the release of his film Judgemental Hai Kya opposite Kangana Ranaut spoke about Shubh Mangal Zayada Saavdhan but only to clarify that he is not a part of the film.

About the film a source disclosed Bollywood Hungama, “The idea is to bring out into the open bodily issues that no one discussed. Which is not to say that Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan will go down the same path as the first installment with Ayushmann again. But there will definitely be a flaw in the protagonist to deal with.”

The film will also see a change in the director. While, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan was directed by Rs Prasanna the sequel is being helmed by Hitesh Kewalya.
