Ishaan Khatter And Janhvi Kapoor To Be A Part Of Dear Comrade Remake?

Few days back, Karan Johar proudly announced that he had acquired the Hindi rights of the latest Vijay Deverakonda starrer, Dear Comrade. After the unprecedented success of Kabir Singh, which was a remake of the Telugu film Arjun Reddy, more producers are keen on remaking Telugu films and Vijay Deverakonda, who played the titular character in the original, has become the blue-eyed boy. Karan also shared a picture with the actor and shared the happy news.

The lead actors for the Hindi remake have not been zeroed down yet. But if rumours are to be believed, then Karan might re-cast the Dhadak pair- Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor for this film as well. Their chemistry in the Hindi remake of the Marathi film, Sairat, had caught everyone’s attention and Dhadak, which was directed by Shashank Khaitan had garnered praise from one and all. The film went on to become a hit.

Currently, Janhvi has her hands full with projects like The Kargil Girl, Takht, RoohiAfza and Dhadak 2. Ishaan, on the other hand, would be seen in a film that will be produced by Ali Abbas Zafar. Incidentally, it was Ishaan’s brother, Shahid Kapoor, who turned tables as Kabir Singh. Also, Janhvi has a huge crush on Vijay Deverakonda and she had made this revelation on Koffee With Karan!
