    Ishaan Khatter shares his intense first look from his war drama Pippa; Kartik Aaryan busy shooting 'climax pe pclimax'

    Ishaan Khatter has begun shooting for his next project, Pippa, a war drama set against the backdrop of the India-Pakistan war of 1971. The actor took to social media to share his intense first look announcing that the shoot has commenced for Pippa.

    War dramas are currently a hot favorite in Bollywood and the Ishaan starrer film will be an adaptation of Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta’s book The Burning Chaffees. The book is based on the Battle of Garibpur, which was the first battle won by the Indian Army and the Bangladeshi Forces against the Pakistani Army in Bangladesh’s liberation efforts before India officially joined the war in December 1971.

    Ishaan can be seen ready for war in the poster standing in a tank. The actor wrote, “This is going to be special. ‘Shooting’ begins for our #Pippa! Godspeed.” Directed by Raja Krishna Menon the film also stars Mrunal Thakur and Priyanshu Painyuli.

    Kartik Aaryan, on the other hand, has begun shooting for the climax of his film Feddy and shared the update regarding the same with his followers on social media. The actor who recently wrapped up shoot for the climax of his long-delayed horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiya 2 wrote in the caption, “Climax pe Climax”. The actor had called Bhool Bulaiya 2 one of the most challenging sequences of his career as he took 162 takes for the climax.

    As he shared an update on Freddy for which he is shooting in Panchgani, filmmaker Sameer Vidhwans who will be directing him in his next joked in the comments, “Haha break ur previous record. Go for 200 shots,” Kartik in reply said, “Already did it there sir 200 not out !! Ab jaan nahi bachi. Apni mein karenge na.”
