Lets face it one thriller is worth five romances for any average movie buff. So the Ittefaq promo posters have left us truly mad with curiosity. The tag lines 2 murders 2 suspects 2 versions is the way you promote a murder mystery. The posters have a dark intense aura which is a must for a murder mystery. The creative team of Ittefaq deserves ka pat on the back for this.

 Add Sonakshi who one of our finest with expressive eyes - I have maintained that her selection for the role that was initially portrayed by Nanda is perfect casting for a did she or did she not question . The brooding Sidharth and the shrewd cop Akshaye and you have a perfect recipe for a murder mystery thriller you have been waiting for since ages. Bollywood has not done much on this side for long.

The job of a promo is to make us wait for a movie. To that extent the makers of Ittefaq seem to have succeeded. Whether it will match up to the legandary status of its original which was directed by none less than the master story teller of the 1970s Yash Chopra - that remains to be seen. 

For now Ittefaq seems to be one delicious tale of darkness worth waiting for ! This one is totally marked in the calendar !
