Jackie Shroff Joins The Cast Of Sooryavanshi A Month After The Film Has Wrapped Up!

Back in November last year, Akhsty Kumar had announced that the shoot for his upcoming film with Rohit Shetty, Sooryavanshi, has been wrapped up. And why not, the film is all set to release on 27^th March and a lot of post production work must have been left. But what comes as a surprise now is the fact that Rohit Shetty has introduced another character for the film post the wrap, and the role was taken up by none other than Bollywood’s Bhidu, Jackie Shroff.

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Jackie Shroff had shot for his scenes just last week in Ooty and his audition had come as a surprise even for the team of the film. However, Jackie Shroff hasn’t shot anything with Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. He will share screen space with Abhimanyu Singh, who plays the villain in the film.

Confirming the news, Jackie Shroff told the same portal, "I have worked with his father Mr. Shetty sahaab whom I respected a lot. I have done a lot of work with him and now working with his son Rohit has been fantastic. He has the story in his head. He is the boy who has come right from the soil. He knows his job and I loved working with him. It is an experience I will never forget. I can't disclose my character but it’s an interesting role. To be in the same film with all these young stars is fantastic. It is a great opportunity to be part of a film like this, which gives me a lot of strength. It has been a great experience and a fantastic feeling working in Sooryavanshi."

Apart from Sooryavanshi, the senior actor will share screen space with his son, Tiger Shroff for the first time in Baaghi 3.
