Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao to play cricketers in Dharma film helmed by Sharan Sharma: Reports

Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl filmmaker Sharan Sharma is reportedly ready to reunite with Janhvi Kapoor for another project this time based on cricket. The project is once again in the headlines and will apparently be headlined by Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.

According to a Pinkvilla report, the Roohi co-stars will come together once again for this yet-to-be titled film. They individually impressed audiences with their act in Roohi and will now be playing cricketers in this upcoming Sharan Sharma project. The story will be a fictional tale set on backdrop of cricket.

The film is being backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions which launched Janhvi and Sharan in their careers. However, this is not the first time that this cricket based film was in the headlines. Earlier in the year reports had gone viral that Kartik Aaryan was in talks for bagging the project. After Kartik and Karan’s alleged fallout the actor’s casting in the film was definitely out of the question.

The preparations for the project have apparently begun and Rajkummar and Janhvi will reportedly begin their cricket training for it later this year. The film is said to be loaded with emotions and feel good elements.
