    The gorgeous Janhvi Kapoor is not only one of the most adored star kids of Tinsel Town, but also an extremely talented actor. She was last seen in Netflix’s Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl and will soon begin shooting for her upcoming project, the Hindi remake of the 2018 Tamil film Kolamaavu Kokila. Directed by Siddharth Sengupta, the film will go on floors in Punjab on 9th January and will be shot over 45 days. The actress will be travelling across various regions along with the team with all the necessary safety measures.

    A report shared by Mid Day reveals that the actress will be portraying the role of a simple North Indian girl. A source was quoted saying, “Playing the part of a girl from a simple, middle-class family, she will be seen in braids and salwar-kurtas. It is also a coming-of-age movie of a girl who gets trapped in an extraordinary situation, and how she saves her family. In the process, she emerges resilient. There are a few action sequences for which Janhvi has been prepping.”

    Other than Kolamaavu Kokila’s Hindi adaptation, Janhvi has many other exciting upcoming projects in her kitty including horror comedy Roohi Afzana with Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma, Karan Johar’s multi starrer Takht and Dostana 2 co-starring Kartik Aaryan and Laksh Lalwani.
