    Janhvi Kapoor, who spent a great time at home during the quarantine with her sister Khushi Kapoor and father Boney Kapoor is gearing back to work. The nepotism debate that has been going on for a while now has shown the actress in the wrong light but she has been standing strong and did not let it affect her spirit. After giving an outstanding performance in her Netflix film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl where she played the role of one of the first female Indian Air Force pilots. Now, Janhvi is all set to shoot for her next release. However, the Dhadak actress has signed up for her next project for the coming year as well.

    As per a report by Peepingmoon.com, Janhvi Kapoor is all set to step into the shoes of South actress Nayanthara in Anand L Rai’s production. The actress will do her next film with producer Anand L Rai under his banner Colour Yellow Productions. According to reports, The film which Jahnvi has signed up for signed is a crime comedy and will recreate the character of south actress Nayanthara.

    Anand L Rai’s next would be a Hindi remake of Nayanthara’s Kolamavu Kokila. This south hit film was directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The movie revolves around a young girl who gets indulged in a drug racket to earn easy money. Janhvi Kapoor will play the character of this young girl whose conditions, in turn, would get her whole family involved in the drug trafficking business which will follow a series of unusual twists and turns, challenges that will make the film intriguing to watch.

    However, the untitled movie would be Janhvi Kapoor’s next after the pandemic. The film is set to go on floors in February 2021. The movie will be a directorial debut by Siddharth Sengupta,  Earlier, Siddharth has worked as an Assistant director with films including  Agneepath, Heartless, and Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye. Sengupta also co-directed a short series called The Great Escape.
