Janhvi Kapoor To Romance Vijay Devarakonda For Her First Telugu Film Fighter?

According to a recent report, Janhvi will step into the world of Telugu cinema with Fighters opposite none other than Telugu superstar Vijay Devarakonda. The film would be made simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi and would be directed by Puri Jagannadh. This would also be Vijay’s first project in Bollywood and also Janhvi’s dad Boney Kapoor would be producing a bi-lingual film for the first time.

Talking further about the project, a source revealed to Deccan Chronicle, “Even actresses such as Alia Bhatt and Ananya Pandey were approached for the part, but things did not materialize. However, Karan Johar was instrumental in getting Janhvi Kapoor on board. The actress is still working her date diary, and in all probability, she might commence shooting in February

It is being said that Karan Johar who would also be handling the pan-India release of the film was instrumental in bringing Janhvi on-board for the project. Well, after Janhvi disclosed having a crush on Vijay on Karan’s show, he surely had to something about it.
