    Actress Janhvi Kapoor was last seen on the big screen in Hardik Mehta’s horror comedy Roohi, alongside Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma. She left audiences in awe with her portrayal of a girl possessed by a demonic spirit. The film marked the second installment in Dinesh Vijan's Horror-Comedy Universe after Stree. Well, the beauty is now ready to explore another new genre with the Hindi remake of Malayalam film Helen. The survival thriller will be helmed by Mathukutty Xavier, who directed the original.

    The film was meant to go on floors in June this year, but things could not go according to plan due to the second wave of coronavirus and the subsequent lockdown. Well according to the latest report shared by ETimes, the shoot of Helen remake will now begin in August. A source was quoted saying, “The film needs to be shot at real locations but we will begin with an indoor shoot first. The production team is planning to start the shoot in August and the crew is currently in preparation phase.”

    According to buzz, the Hindi remake of Helen might be titled Mili, which will also be the name of Janhvi’s character in the film. It will be shot in India due to travel restrictions. Janhvi will portray the role of a working class girl who ends up locked inside a freezer at a supermarket, while Manoj Pahwa will play her on-screen father.
