Janhvi Kapoor’s Look From Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl Is Here! Check Out The Posters...

Post the success of Dhadak, Janhvi Kapoor had become a busy woman. Even before the release of her debut film, she had been signed for Karan Johar’s ambitious project, Takht. But the newbie has also been given a film which she would have to carry on her shoulders alone! We are talking about Gunjan Saxena’s biopic, Gujan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, whose first look poster is out today!

In the poster, we can see Janhvi Kapoor as a girl who smiles with all her heart. Wearing a simple sweater, she has a paper plane on her hand and the words “ladkiyan pilot nahin banti” also find place in the poster. Revealing the look, Karan Johar wrote,

She was told ladkiyan pilot nahin banti, but she stood her ground & wanted to fly! Gunjan Saxena - #TheKargilGirl releasing on 13th March, 2020.

Two more posters have also been reveled- one which shows Gunjan's relationship with her father, played by Pankaj Tripathi and another in which we can see her in her uniform. Sharing the poster of Janhvi with Pankaj Tripathi, Karan write:

"Her pillar of strength - her father. He gave her the wings to fly! Gunjan Saxena - #TheKargilGirl, releasing on 13th March, 2020."

The film, as the title suggests, is about Gunjan Saxena, the woman who not just became a pilot, but also created history by becoming the first Indian woman to fly to a combat zone. She was also awarded the Shaurya Chakra for her achievements during the Kargil War.

The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Angad Bedi in important roles. It will release on 13^th March, 2020.
