Jasmin Bhasin reveals why she didn’t talk about contracting COVID-19 on social media

Almost a month ago, Bigg Boss 14 contestant Aly Goni had revealed that his mother, sister and her children had contracted coronavirus. However, what fans did not know was that Aly and his girlfriend Jasmin Bhasin had also tested positive for COVID-19. They quarantined themselves in Jammu and tried to keep a positive state of mind. A few weeks later Jasmin confirmed the news to a leading daily. Well, the Naagin 4 star has now revealed why she did not announce the news on social media like other celebrities.

In a chat with Spotboye, Jasmin talked about how the pandemic has played with all our minds in the worst possible way and we are all scared. She shared, “But I consciously avoid encouraging the scare or how many people are dying or suffering and change the topic to better positive stuff. This too shall pass is my mantra. I myself went through Covid and chose to avoid putting it out on social media as I didn’t want unnecessary attention and free advice from anyone and everyone. I agree that the pandemic has redefined our way of engaging with each other.”

She went on to add that people have not only become more sensitive but are also getting better at changing topics to something more positive. Jasmin stated that life is too short to hold grudges with anyone and it is important to live in the present. Well, the actress and her beau are back in Mumbai now and are excited to resume work.
