George Floyd’s death had seen a massive outrage in the US which spread to our part of the world too. And now, the death of two men- P Jayaraj and his son J Bennicks, in Tuticorin, who allegedly died in police custody has created a huge furore in Tamil Nadu and on social media.

One social media user shared a video of how the cops of the Sathankulam police station had picked up the father-son duo for allegedly flouting the lockdown rules, died in police custody.

As the user shared the details on social media, various celebrities took to Twitter to express their horror and grief and demanded justice.
