Jennifer Winget To Return For Beyhadh 2, The Producer Reveals Details About The New Season

Jenifer Winget gave the best performance on television by portraying the character of Maya in Beyhadh. Usually, in Indian television, the female lead is usually seen playing the positive character but Jenifer in Beyhadh broke the stereotype by picking up a grey character and performed it extremely well. Jenifer was seen playing an obsessive lover in Prateek Sharma’s Beyhadh which won a lot of appreciation as well as TRPs. After the end of the show, Beyhadh’s fans wanted a Season 2 of the show and the producers of the show decided to come up with a sequel of Beyhadh with Jenifer Winget in the lead once again.

Prateek Sharma, the producer of Beyhadh, recently revealed the details about season 2 in conversation with Pinkvilla. Prateek said, that Beyhadh 2's storyline is finalized and added, "Later part of the year we will start Beyhadh 2. The conversations are on. No information is given on that. Right now nothing is finalized. The storyline we have finalized though." Further, when quizzed about season two's story, He also stated, "Beyhadh has always been about obsession."

Earlier, Prateek had confirmed Jennifer's role in the season 2 saying, "Who else can play Maya better than Jennifer Winget? I am ecstatic and totally looking forward to Beyhadh 2 as Beyhadh is my flagship show. Things are now at very initial stages. We are in discussion with Jennifer for her dates, as we all know she is a star and is busy with a certain thing."

While Jennifer Winget is confirmed for her role, it is not sure if Kushal Tandon will be a part of Beyhadh 2 or not. On his birthday, when he was asked about the show's sequel, he had said, "I have not heard anything about it. I am hearing about it from you. Honestly, I have done the show and enjoyed it immensely. I would like to take up something that's different."
