John Abraham Recalls Not Being Scared Of Failure At The Beginning Of His Career; Today He Is Grateful

The handsome John Abraham is undoubtedly one of the most popular and adored superstars of the Hindi film industry. He began his journey in Bollywood with Jism in 2003 and earned a nomination at Filmfare awards. He went on to win hearts with commercial hits such as Dhoom, Taxi No. 9211, Garam Masala and New York amongst many others. Currently, he is gearing up for his much awaited projects which include Satyameva Jayate 2, Attack and Ek Villain Returns. Even though he’s an established star in Bollywood now, the actor feels he is still struggling.

In a recent chat with IANS, John shared, “Honestly, at the risk of sounding humble -- which I don't want to -- I still believe I am struggling and trying to make a mark. I have told everyone on set that I am grateful to be on a film set. I have become more cognizant of it today than what I was back then.” Recalling his early days in the industry, he said, “There was a sense of frivolity and a sense of casual callousness about my behaviour at the start of my career, where I wasn't scared of failure. Today, I am not scared but grateful for my journey. It teaches you a lot.”

Recently the actor began shooting for Siddharth Anand’s Pathan, also starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. While SRK and Deepika will be seen as spies, John is portraying the antagonist in the action thriller.
