John Abraham To Join Anil Kapoor And Govinda For Deewana Mastana 2

If you grew up on 90s Bollywood, Deewana Mastana has got to be one of your favorite romantic comedies ever. Superstars of the era, Anil Kapoor, Govinda and Juhi Chawla took this crazy comedy to a level that makes it a delight to watch even today.

Years later, it seems, Govinda and Anil Kapoor are set to come back with this 90s favorite to enthrall us once again. The duo announced on the stage of Nach Baliye that a sequel of the film, Deewana Mastana is underway and apart from Anil Kapoor and Govinda, the film will also include John Abraham. Talking about the same, Anil Kapoor said, “Since Govinda and I have met after a long time, I would like to announce Deewana Mastana 2. This time we can have John Abraham too.”

Govinda who was also present at the event seemed excited about the film. Talking about his equation with Kapoor, Govinda said, “Anil Kapoor is one of the most genuine people I have met and worked with in my life. He is my senior and I always looked up to him but I was very scared to talk to him. But Anil was always so cordial that he never made me feel any different from him.”

While John has already worked with Anil Kapoor in films like Welcome 2, Race 2 and the upcoming Pagal Panti, this would be the first time that he would be collaborating with Govinda.
