    The Blackbuck poaching case conviction resulted in Bollywood superstar Salman Khan spending 2 nights row in a jail as his bail plea is still underway. Salman was convicted of killing 2 blackbucks during the shooting of Hum Saath Saath Hain in Jodhpur in the year 1998. Other actors like Saif Ali Khan , Tabu , Sonali Bendre and Neelam who were co-accused in the case were acquitted by the court.

    Salman received the punishment of 5 years in prison along with a fine of 10000 Rupees and was sent to jail as his lawyers framed his bail plea. The judge heard the arguments of both the sides on 6th April and reserved his judgment till today. But now, the case has seen a new turn of events.

     Judge Ravindra Kumar Joshi who was hearing Salman's bail plea was transferred along with a number of judiciary officials. A Jude is given 7 days for transition and it is expected that he will be present at the hearing today. he will be replaced by Judge Chandra Kumar Songara. The transfer order came late at night and normally the Judges are transferred between April 15 to April 30 every year.

    The judge who sentenced Salman Khan to 5 years in prison, Dev Kumar Khatri was also transferred under the Rajasthan High Court's transfer order of 87 judiciary officers. He will be replaced by Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate of Udaipur, Samrendra Singh Sikarwar. Judge Khatri in his verdict said that as Salman's a film star, people look up to him. There might be a delay in judgment on Salman's bail plea today. 





    Salman is currently lodged in the Jodhpur Central Jail and he is allowed inmate badge number 106. He is in the VIP barracks and in his neighboring cell is godman Asaram Bapu who is also serving time after being convicted in a rape case.
