However, a few days back it was announced that Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor and director Raj Mehta have contracted coronavirus. Thankfully their co-actors Anil Kapoor and Kiara Advani have tested negative for the deadly virus. Anil also took to his official social media handle to announce: “In the interest of putting any rumours to rest, I have tested negative for COVID-19. Thank you all for your concern and good wishes.”

Varun also took to his official handle to share the news and wrote: "?So as I returned to work in the pandemic era I have contracted #covid_19 All precautions were taken by the production but still nothing is certain in life especially not covid-19. So please be extra careful I believe I could have been more careful. I see the get well soon messages and my spirits are high taking each day at a time ?? thank u."

Maniesh Paul, who was also shooting with the team in Chandigarh, has reportedly tested positive for coronavirus. In the latest report shared by ETimes, a source revealed that after Maniesh returned to Mumbai from Chandigarh, he started feeling feverish. He took the test and his reports have returned positive. The shooting of the film has currently been put on hold and Anil has returned to the city too. Varun and Raj, on the other hand, decided to stay back in Chandigarh and are quarantined there.

Meanwhile, Neetu returned to Mumbai in an air ambulance arranged by her son and actor Ranbir Kapoor. The family felt that it would be better for the veteran actress to be with her near and dear ones in Mumbai, instead of being alone in Chandigarh. Well, we wish the team a speedy recovery!
