The shoot of Jug Jugg Jeeyo had begun some weeks back and the entire cast and the crew was excited about it. In fact, it was different for Neetu Kapoor since this was the first time she went out without Rishi Kapoor and it would his first film after losing her husband. But, another problem has struck the film. Varun Dhawan and Neetu Kapoor, along with director Raj Mehta, have tested positive for COVID-19.

The team had left to shoot in Chandigarh some weeks back and they had gotten their test done during that time. The test results were negative, However, a recent result came positive for Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor and Raj Mehta. It was also being said that Anil Kapoor had tested positive, but later the result came out negative. Strict safety measures were taken on sets, but the members still got affected. More information on the same is being awaited.

Kiara Advani, who plays the leading lady, and Prajakta Koli, who would make her Bollywood debut with the film, have tested negative. The shoot has been halted of course.
