Juhi Chawla took a trip down memory lane revisiting days of her short stint on TV and shared with fans some footage from her guest appearance on B.R. Chopra’s TV show Bahadur Shah Zafar. The actress played a Mughal royal in the TV show which and was yet to make her debut in Bollywood when the serial was shot. Juhi seems not to have aged at all since 1987 when this footage dates back to.
The actress in a long note revealed that she hasn’t seen this footage from the TV show after it was shot and only got reacquainted after a fan page of hers dug it out. Revisiting the days of shooting for Bahadur Shah Zafar Juhi recalled how she kept forgetting her lines during the shoot since she was too nervous.
Juhi wrote about her important guest appearance and said, “It was a 1 day shoot, I remember I was very very new & sooo nervous that during the shot I kept forgetting my lines ?. Ravi Chopraji was directing & he didn’t lose his patience even once, kept telling me to be calm .. to relax .. he was very kind.”
She thanked her fan page for sharing the clip and wrote, “After this shoot which may have been way back in 1987, I never ever saw it & today is the first time after alllllll these years …and I’m amazed i could say these lines..or even express i have no idea what i did … and what Chopraji saw in me, why he cast me …. and now…… i see it.”
Juhi eventually made her debut in films with Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak in 1988 with Aamir Khan.
