Kabir Khan To Direct An Adventure Show For OTT Along The Lines Of Expedition Unknown? Read Deets

Kabir Khan is all set to gift the audience an experience this year with '83. The film, whose release was pushed due to the pandemic, will finally hit theatres this year in June. It will capture the historic moment of India's win at the Cricket World Cup in 1983 and what led to it! But, that's not all! Looks like he is all set with his next as well.

According to a report in PeepingMoon, Kabir Khan would be directing a web show next. It would be a multi-season adventure show, that might be on the lines of the American TV series, Expedition Unknown. The report further stated that it will be based on true events. It is apparently on the scripting stage still and might go on floors by the end of the year! A source said, "Kabir Khan comes from the background of documentary filmmaking, and hence his every film necessarily has a subtle, yet strong political message. This show will also have a socio-political commentary with a great human story at the forefront. Kabir and his team are leaving no stone unturned to make this project a worthwhile cinematic experience for the viewers."

This would be Kabir Khan's second web-series after Sunny Kaushal and Sharvari Wagh starrer The Forgotten Army: Azaadi Ke Liye.
