Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh is enjoying a great run in theatres even in its second week and the film is speeding towards the 200 crore club. The film is days away from beating Salman Khan’s Bharat that has grossed Rs. 210 crores at the box office so far. As of Day 11, Kabir Singh has earned Rs. 190.64 crores with a business of Rs. 9.07 crores on its second Monday.

Kabir Singh is not only one of Shahid’s best performances on screen but also is his career best at the box office as a solo lead. Despite a divided audience over the content of the film with some calling it misogynistic while others hailing the film for the strong performances the business of the film has in no way slowed down.

The Arjun Reddy remake released in theatres on 21 June and breached the 100 crore mark in just five days and now eyes the 200 crore club, with the strong run of the movie it is still difficult to predict where Kabir Singh will stop. An easy 250 crores or even 300 crores seems like an achievable goal for the Shahid Kapoor -Kiara Advani starrer.

As of now Kabir Singh remains the third highest grosser of the year behind Uri and Bharat and has not slowed down despite competition from Ayushmann Khurrana’s Article 15 which released last Friday.
