Kajal Aggarwal Joins The Cast Of Mumbai Saga, To Romance John Abraham In The Multi-Starrer!

Have you been missing multi-starrer gangster dramas on the big screen nowadays? Well, worry not because Mumbai Saga is all set to hit the theatres next year. In fact, the shooting has already started. It had already been announced that  John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi, Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Gulshan Grover, Rohit Roy, Sameer Soni and Amol Gupte would be a part of the film. And now we get to hear that an actress has also come on-board. We are talking about Kajal Aggarwal, who will play John Abraham’s wife in the film!

Well, director Sanjay Gupta is quite excited to have her on-board. Talking about his choice of actress, Sanjay said,

"The most important thing is that my gangster films often also have strong female characters. This character starts off as John’s girlfriend, then becomes his wife. I needed an actress who could play a 17-year-old college girl, a young wife and then, a strong woman in her 30s. I’m an admirer of Kajal’s work, she looks lovely and has a great screen presence. I’m glad we’re collaborating on this film."

Mumbai Saga marks the return of Sanjay Gupta, who has directed films like Shootout At Wadala, after almost 6 years. The film will hit the theatres on June 19, 2020.
