Kajol says she's 'not been approached yet' for Shah Rukh Khan starrer Rajkumar Hirani film

Kajol turns 47 today and the actress began her birthday celebrations early spending some leisurely time with her mother Tanuja and sister Tanisha Mukherji last evening. The actress also opened up about her work commitments and how she keeps herself free for a week close to her birthday as she wants to enjoy the day to the fullest.

The actress while speaking to Hindustan Times about her plans to celebrate, Kajol said, “I love my birthday. I try to keep myself free for at least a week so that I can really enjoy the day to its fullest. I’m not working today either.”  Due to the pandemic, the actress wasn’t able to get all her loved ones under one roof but revealed that she spaced things up and met them all separately during the week.

The birthday girl also reacted to the wild rumours about her reuniting with Shah Rukh Khan on screen in Rajkumar Hirani’s next. Kajol said that she hasn’t been offered the film as the rumours make it out to be. “They haven’t approached me yet. I’m reading and listening to scripts and virtually meeting people to hear ideas. But I haven’t locked anything as of now,” she told the publication.

Rumours were that Rajkumar Hirani has ambitious plans of casting three of Bollywood’s biggest leading ladies in his immigration drama. According to such reports Taapsee Pannu, Kajol and Vidya Balan were approached for the project.
