It all began after Kangana Ranaut called Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhasker ‘needy outsiders’ on national television. Since then the Manikarnika actress has received a lot of backlash on social media for discrediting actors of their hard work. Taapsee and Swara shared old interviews of Kangana being accepting of nepotism and the privilege the star kids and saying on national TV that a co-star from Manikarnika couldn't act.

Swara Bhasker recently shared a tweet questioning Kangana Ranaut why she abused the actress in front of 200 people on set and showing tantrums at the set when the director praised the former for a good scene.

However, it was during an interaction with Beyond Bollywood that Kangana Ranaut’s Tanu Weds Manu co-star Navni Parihar revealed that she was very sweet and she never quite heard of any altercation between her and Swara.
