Kangana Ranaut Bears An Uncanny Resemblance To Jayalalithaa In New Stills From Thalaivi Sets As Another Schedule Wraps Up

Just days after resuming shoot ace actress Kangana Ranaut has wrapped up another schedule of her upcoming biopic on late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. The actress took to twitter to share the good news with her fans and also shared a few new stills of her in the politician’s character striking an uncanny resemblance.

The mega pan Indian project titled Thalaivi has been in works for over a year now and like everything else the coronavirus pandemic brought the work on the project to a halt with the nationwide lockdown.  From the pictures shared by Kangana we can see her dressed as a young Jayalalithaa in her trademark saree suggesting that this schedule was all about the former Tamil Nadu CM’s early years as a politician.

In one of the pictures which shows the recreation of a scene from the legislative assembly, Kangana can also be seen sporting a mask following all precautions on set. With the pictures Kangana wrote in her Tweet, “With the blessings of Jaya Ma we completed one more schedule of Thalaivi- the revolutionary leader. After corona many things are different but between action and before cut nothing changes. Thank you team @vishinduri @ShaaileshRSingh #ALVijay”

After the Covid-19 posed delay it is yet uncertain when the film will finally be able to release.
