Kangana Ranaut calls 'Bullywood' a 'gutter' after Raj Kundra's arrest, says will expose the industry in upcoming production

Kangana Ranaut on Tuesday reacted to the arrest of Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra in a porn racket busted by the Mumbai Police in February. The actress said she will expose ‘Bullywood’ in her upcoming digital production ‘Tinku weds Sheru’ for which actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been roped in to play the lead.

“This is why I call movie industry a gutter… all that glitter is not gold, I am
going to expose underbelly of Bullywood in my upcoming production called Tiku weds Sheru…” Kangana wrote in an Instagram story commenting on Raj Kundra’s arrest.

“We need strong value system and conscience in the creative industry and of course a whip,” the Manikarnika actress added.

Raj Kundra was arrested on Monday night for his alleged connection with pornographic films produced in Mumbai. The said content was apparently being produced by his company for an app. The businessman has been called a ‘key conspirator’ in the case by the Mumbai Police.

Whatsapp chats, email exchanges, money trail and other incriminating evidence against Kundra led to his arrest along with one Ryan Thrope. A report against Kundra was filed at the Malwani Police Station in Mumbai in February 2021.

He was remanded to police custody till 23 July by the court on Tuesday afternoon. So far 11 people including Raj Kundra have been arrested in the case.
