Kangana Ranaut Claims Akshay Kumar Privately Praised Her For Thalaivi Trailer, Says They Can't Do It Openly Because Of 'Movie Mafia Terror'

Kangana Ranaut's Thalaivi trailer had released a few days back. Kangana looked perfect as actress turned Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha and it had left us all impressed. While we are eagerly looking forward to see Kangana surpass her previous performances and give another National Award-worthy act here, we are also hoping that the film gets to release in theatre on the scheduled day itself, and that COVID does affect it. Now, in her latest tweet, Kangana has claimed that many Bollywood stars including Akshay Kumar had messaged her privately and praised her after watching the Thalaivi trailer, but did not do it openly because of 'movie mafia terror'.

Retweeting a tweet praising her performance, Kangana wrote, "Bollywood is so hostile that even to praise me can get people in trouble, I have got many secret calls and messages even from big stars like @akshaykumar
they praised @Thalaivithefilm trailer to sky but unlike Alia and Deepika films they can’t openly praise it. Movie mafia terror. Wish an industry of art can be objective when it comes to art, and not indulge in power play and politics when it comes to cinema, my political views and spirituality should not make me a target of bullying, harassment and isolation but if they do, then obviously I will win."
