Kangana Ranaut Labels Bombay HC Quashing BMC's Demolition Notice Of Her Office As 'The Victory Of Democracy'

The Bombay Municipal Corporation had faced major criticism some months back when it had demolished Kangana Ranaut's office space in Mumbai just days after sending her the legal notice. The Bombay High Court had put a stay on the demolition order, but a lot of damage was done already since the BMC began doing it before the order. Now, Kangana has finally heaved a sigh of relief as the HC has ruled out in her favour.

The High Court has said that the demolition of the building was carried out with 'mala fide intent' and that it was 'nothing but malice in law'. Obviously, this is a big win for Kangana Ranaut and she is elated with the decision. Tweeting about it, she called it the victory of democracy and wrote, "When individual stands against the government and wins, it’s not the victory of the individual but it’s the victory of the democracy. Thank you everyone who gave me courage and thanks to those who laughed at my broken dreams. Its only cause you play a villain so I can be a HERO." See her tweet here:

The Bombay High Court has also adviced the actress to show restraint in her comments. F.I.Rs have been filed against her for her comments and it has been claimed that her tweets hurt the religious sentiments of many!
