Kangana Ranaut On Udaan Actress Malvi Malhotra Stabbing Case: "This Is What Happens To Small-Town Strugglers"

TV actress Malvi Malhotra, who became popular after her stint in the Tv serial Udaan, had been stabbed thrice by a producer after she rejected his marriage proposal. The actress has been admitted to Kokilaben hospital in the city, where she is currently undergoing treatment. According to reports, the actress knew the attacker and had befriended him on a social media site last year. It was early this year that the two had met. The producer apparently proposed her for marriage, but she rejected him. She also blocked him on social media sites.

She was attacked in broad daylight and was stabbed thrice. She is now out of danger. Kangana Ranaut tweeted about it. Retweeting the news, she wrote, "This is what happens to small town strugglers who don’t have connections and proper channels, nepotism kids might defend themselves as much they want but how many of them have been stabbed, raped and killed ?" She also tagged the NCW Chief and continued, "Dear Malvi I am with you, I read you are critical, I pray for you dear girl, requesting @sharmarekha ji to take immediate actions against the culprit, we are with you and we will get you justice. Please have faith."

Mumbai Police, meanwhile filed an F.I.R. According to CCN-News18, the police said, "We have filed an FIR under section 307 and section 354. Further investigation in going on and we will soon arrest the accused." We are praying for Malvi's speedy recovery and hope that the culprit is punished.
