Kangana Ranaut’s struggle is undoubtedly is inspiring to anyone who aims to make it big, in Bollywood or in life. She had run away from her home in Himachal when she was still a teenager with just a meager Rs. 1500 with her. She not just managed to sustain herself but also made a career. She started slowly and steadily and even with some misses in her early life, she is now considered one of the most bankable actresses in Bollywood. As one can already understand, she must have had a life of struggle. In a recent interview, she opened up about how people perceived her as a ‘gold digger from a small town’ in the early days of her career!

Talking to Pinkvilla, she said, “I didn't have material ambitions. But it started off when I saw that women are hugely judged for not going after material ambitions. Men are running this race. The women feel vulnerable at that point. Being a woman, I don't think about money. But am I looked like that from an outer perspective? That I'm a gold digger from a small town? This is something that has been so obnoxiously told to me which changed the course of my life forever. Then, it became about material things. Then, I thought that maybe, I will have a fair chance in the society if I have that. So now, I have another goal, to be one of the richest people in India by the age of 50."

She seems to be closer to her goal, now that she has started a production house of her own too. Located in the heart of Mumbai, the property costed her Rs. 48 crores! We love her ambitious and fighting spirit!
