Thalaivii, starring Kangana Ranaut as actress and politician J Jayalalithaa, arrived in theatres today. Ever since it hit the big screen in the morning, reviews have been pouring in on social media from all over the country. While some lauded Kangana’s performance and director A. L. Vijay’s phenomenal work, others gushed over the actress’ chemistry with Arvind Swami, which almost reminded fans of the real Jaya and MGR. The story follows Jayalalithaa’s journey from an actress to the chief minister of Tamil Nadu.

However, as we all know, there’s much more to the celebrated politician’s life! There are various different aspects which fans were hoping to learn more about. Well, much to the delight of movie-lovers, a report shared by Pinkvilla has revealed that there is a possibility of Thalaivii’s sequel! A source was quoted saying, “Thalaivii sequel is definitely on cards. There is so much more to reveal about Jayalalithaa's life. People are excited about the film and definitely, it will give the makers a reason to make a sequel.”

Well, we already have very high expectations from this sequel, which may come our way soon. Meanwhile, Thalaivii is winning hearts and we are guessing Kangana is soaring high on its success! During a press conference in Delhi yesterday, the actress had called Thalaivii her best film yet. Now that it’s out in theatres, her fans can finally share their judgment too.
