Kangana Ranaut’s Twitter account has been suspended for violating rules of the social media platform. The actress had consistently been tweeting about the post election clashes between BJP and TMC and the ongoing Covid-19 situation in India.

While it is not known what particular tweet triggered Twitter to take this action, Kangana later posted a video on Instagram calling for President’s rule in West Bengal and asking the government to stop this ‘genocide’. In the video, however, Kangana did not comment on her Twitter account getting suspended despite being rather active on the platform.

Known for her brazen political tweets, Kangana often draws backlash for her strong opinions. Her recent tweets on the worsening Covid-19 situation have been on the receiving end of a lot of criticism. She recently asked people demanding more oxygen and ‘forcefully drawing from the environment’ how they are compensating nature for this.

She also invited controversy after recently liking a tweet that called actor Sonu Sood a ‘fraud’. Sonu has been one of the foremost celebrities from Bollywood who stepped up to offer aid to citizens heavily impacted by the Covid-19 situation in the country.

She also never fails to pick a bone with her critics and has been active in replying to those that counter her ideas.
