Kangana Reveals Why She Turned Down Ranbir’s Sanju; Says Her Dream Role Is Playing Madhubala Opposite Aamir

Kangana Ranaut is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after and accomplished actresses of Bollywood. The beauty is an inspiration and has successfully carved a niche for herself in the Hindi film industry thanks to her bold personality and spectacular performance in superhits such as Queen, Fashion, Tanu Weds Manu, Manikarnika and Panga among many others. Well, in a recent chat the actress was asked if she will ever share the screen with heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor, and her reply is sure to leave you surprised.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Kangana revealed, “Ranbir Kapoor had come to my house and offered me to do Sanju. I didn't like the role much. There wasn't much for me to do in the film, so I said no to him. Imagine which other actress would say no to him? But I have always believed that I'm not here because of the films I did but because of the films I didn't do. I was also approached for Sultan which I didn't do and I remember after I said no, Aditya Chopra called me and told me 'I will never work with you again'. So yes, all that has happened with me.” She went on to add that she has been meaning to work with Ranveer Singh and Ranbir.

When asked about her dream role, the actress shared, “Manikarnika was my dream role.” However, she continued to add, “I think I would like to make a story about Madhubala and Dilip Kumar and I would like myself to play Madhubala, even though I won’t do justice to the beauty of the legend, but nevertheless it’s my dream role. And I want Aamir Khan to play Dilip Kumar.” Well, they would definitely look great together!

Kangana also shared which super power she would want to possess if she could, and said, “I think the kind of superpower I want right now is to fight corona. Imagine what kind of a hero will that make me for the world. I would like get up in the morning and be like Mr India. Maybe wear my glasses or become a microbe myself to fight corona. I’d become like another virus family. So right now I want to be a virus that can completely sabotage corona’s plans.”
