Kanika Kapoor Refutes Rumours Partying With Hundreds Of People After Her Return From London

Kanika Kapoor is probably India’s first celeb who has been tested positive for the novel COVID-19. She has arrived to India from London and many have claimed that she had hid herself in the bathroom to avoid screening. She had apparently then attended parties that had more than hundred people present and many have accused her of being negligent and called her out.

But Kanika has not just refuted the fact that she had escaped from screening at the airport, but has also claimed that she has no attended any parties for months. She had herself shared the news on social media that she has tested positive for coronavirus after she saw flu like symptoms. She wrote, “Hello everyone, for the past 4 days I have had signs of flu, I got myself tested and it came positive for Covid-19. My family and I are in complete quarantine now and following medical advice on how to move forward. Contact mapping of people I have been in touch with is underway as well.
I was scanned at the airport as per normal procedure 10days ago when I came back home, the symptoms have developed only 4 days ago.
At this stage I would like to urge you all to practice self isolation and get tested if you have the signs.
I am feeling ok, like a normal flu and a mild fever, however we need to be sensible citizens at this time and think of all around us. We can get through this without panic only if we listen to the experts and our local, state and central government directives. Wishing everyone good health. Jai Hind !”

Now coming to the fact that she had attended a party in Lucknow and Kanpur, Kanika has refuted the fact. Talking to Republic TV, she has said that she hadn’t attended parties in months. However, there are reports that she did and Rajastan CM Vasundara Raje’s son, Dushyant Singh was also a guest at the same party. While they are maintaining self quarantine now, Vasundara Raje had attended sessions at the Parliament after this! She has, in fact, confirmed that Dushyant attended the party and called it unfortunate.
