Kanika Kapoor Tests Positive For The Fifth Time Despite Doctors Claiming That She Is Doing Better

This is not a great news for fans and for well-wishers of Kanika Kapoor. The singer, who is the first Indian celeb to have tested positive of the novel coronavirus has tested positive yet again! This was her fifth test and she is not recovering from this virus despite being in the hospital for weeks now. The fifth tests results came in today. The Baby Doll singer is admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Lucknow.

The director of the hospital, Dr R K Dhiman, had earlier told Spotboye that Kanika had been ‘doing much better’. He further said, “She will be discharged soon, it will take about a week more I think. We have a protocol of keeping the patient in such a case for 2 to 3 weeks. We never discharge any patient pre-maturely. The process is to test the coronavirus patient after 14 days and see if he/she is testing negative. If the test is negative, another test is carried out in 24-48 hours and that too should come negative." He also said that her family’s claims of her deteriorating health are false!

All we can do is pray for her speedy recovery.
