Kapil Sharma ready to lead another Bollywood film after 4 years? Read details about his next acting job

Kapil Sharma is staple to the television comedy scene but the there is definitely more to the man than his hilarious one liners on The Kapil Sharma Show. Having dabbled with acting in the past, news is that Kapil might soon return to the big screen with his third film as a lead.

The comedian who led the 2015 comedy Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karun and added another feather in his hat with the hit followed it up with the rather forgettable Firangi in 2017. Kapil might have stayed away from films since but looks like he has found another film script to lead another Bollywood project. The Free Press Journal reports that Kapil is in talks with the makers of a film and is currently trying to find time in his busy schedule to fit the project in.

As for the project itself, not much has been divulged. However, it is reported that the makers are keen on making the film with Kapil and how his dates work out around his popular TV show, is crucial to his signing the project.

While there has not been a lack of offers for Kapil in the Bollywood department we get a feeling the comedian is rather picky about the roles he signs. He is known to have rejected acting projects like 24, Mubarakan, Bank Chor, Who Saat Din remake and Tez among others. Anil Kapoor on the comedian’s show had also once chided him for rejecting the several film offers he made him.
