Kapil Sharma Shares A Rare Throwback To His College Days, Recalls How Clicking A Photo Was Luxury In A Nostalgic Post

Kapil Sharma got nostalgic about his college days as he shared an old, hardly recognizable, picture of himself from 23 years ago. One of the biggest comedians and TV personalities on Indian television today, The Kapil Sharma Show host also shared the back story to the photo which was clicked after a stage performance in a play.

The rather lean-looking comedian can be seen smiling broadly as he stood with some gum on his face between his two colleagues. Looking back at the simpler day, Kapil wrote, “Just found this 23 years old pic, it was just after finishing the performance of our play #Azaadi” in the youth festival of shri “guru Nanak dev university”. I removed my beard n clicked a photo with my colleagues, clicking a photo was such a luxury in those days that I didn’t even realize ?gum is still there on my face ? missing those days , pockets were always empty but smile was always there, jus thought to share with u guys. Hope u all r well n safe ❤️”

The rare throwback for the comedian who is presently missing from the TV screens was definitely welcome by his fans. The comedian from Amritsar started his journey stardom after winning the Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2007.

Kapil Sharma’s show went off air earlier this year with the promise to return in May. It is however, facing indefinite delay owning to no shoots being allowed amidst the pandemic.
