Amongst other star kids and big names of Bollywood, Karan Johar has been trying to stay away from the limelight ever since he began receiving hate messages from netizens. It all started after rumors began doing the rounds about how the filmmaker had allegedly decided to boycott late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. KJo was also accused of being one of the celebs who reportedly shut Sushant out of the industry, leading him to fall into depression. Well after two long months, Karan decided to make a comeback on Twitter and shared a post on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.

While some welcomed him with open arms, most were ready to troll him with most brutal remarks. He received a lot of backlash from netizens along with hate comments. While one user wrote: “Your intention to post this message may be good but... Janta maaf nahi karegi”, another tweeted: “Look Who is Telling About Spreading Positivity , Love. Coffee with karan Show Motive is to Spread Negativity , Hate , and Bullying. Dual Face Demon. Get ready . Karma will serve you what you have paid for. #ArrestSSRKillers.”

In an earlier report shared by Bollywood Hungama, Karan’s close friend had revealed that the brutal hatred the filmmaker received after Sushant’s death has left him shattered. What made Karan feel guilty is that even his loved ones were under constant attack. While his 3-year old twins Yash and Roohi reportedly got death threats, a netizen asked Ananya Panday to commit suicide in order to compensate for Sushant’s death.
