Karan Johar Buys Rights Of Rashmika Mandanna And Nithiin Starrer Bheeshma?

While the world is under a lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, it seems like director producer Karan Johar is keeping his business alive by acquiring rights to remake more Telugu films! A few days back, it had been reported that he acquired the rights of Vijay Deverakonda starrer World Famous Lover and is apparently planning to launch the star in Bollywood with the remake. He had earlier bought rights of his other film, Dear Comrade as well. And now, we are getting to hear that he has acquired the rights of Rashmika Mandanna and Nithiin starrer Bheeshma as well!

A report suggests that Karan has watched the film recently and was mighty impressed. He felt that the film would do well if remade in Bollywood and now plans to do the same. In fact, reports also suggest that he might cast Ranbir Kapoor for Nithiin’s part. However, no official statement has been given out and the reports have not yet been confirmed.

Karan has been showing interest in a lot of regional films and had been watching them over. He would present Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer Fighter. Apart from that, Karan will return back to the director’s chair soon with Takht and has a number of projects lined up for release that he has been produced under his banner.
