    Karan Johar Clarifies There Would Be No Pay Cuts For Brahmastra Team, Requests Everyone To Not Make Assumptions

    Brahmastra seems to be a jinxed project now. The film had been announced back in 2017 and it was initially supposed to release in Winter 2019. However, it got pushed to summer 2020 and then to 4th December, 2020. However, keeping the lockdown in mind and the fact that the film would use heavy VFX, Brahmastra would probably be pushed further! Now, rumours had been doing the rounds that the team of Bharhmastra. Producer Karan Johar addressed this directly and refuted the rumours. 

    Taking to his Twitter account, Karan not only asked people in media to not make any assumptions, but also said that fake news makes it even more difficult for the film industry that  inis alreadycurring heavy loss now due to the lockdown. He wrote, “My hugest request to my media friends not to reach any assumptions on our fraternity films...these are challenging times for the business and false news only makes the situation worse! Please wait for official news on any account!! This is a humble request....(sic)” See his tweet:

    Brahmastra stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead, along with Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy. It is being directed by Ayan Mukerji and the fantasy drama is supposed to release in three parts.
