    Karan Johar is gearing up for his next directorial venture Takht and having said that we can be assured that the scale of production is definitely going to magnanimous! The film is a period drama set in the Mughal era with a dreamy star cast including Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Ali Bhatt, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Penekar and Janhvi Kapoor. The recent debacle with Kalank, however, has shaken things up a bit for Takht as well and it seems like Karan Johar is revisiting and revising every aspect of the film to prevent another flop.

    Reports are doing the rounds that Karan is busy making some major changes to the Takht script where he is building up Vicky Kaushal’s character to be at par with Ranveer Singh. Vicky Kaushal will be seen playing Aurangzeb in the film while Ranveer will be playing Shahjahan’s son Dara Shikoh.
